Summer Camp Forms are DUE!

Hi scout families,

We're getting closer to summer camp and there are several forms that need to be filled out and COPIES ONLY turned in.  Please submit TWO copies of each.

SCOUTS

  • Medical form - must have physical with the doctor
  • Insurance card - copy of front & back
  • Medication list - if applicable
  • Scout release form - it's a good idea to include "any adult from Troop 345" as an option for release

ADULTS

  • Medical form - parts A, B and, if you will be attending camp for 72+ hours, Part C filled out with a doctor
  • Medication list - if applicable
  • DNS - this is mailed to the state in advance.  ALL adults stepping foot on camp grounds must have this completed.  If you have an old copy since 2010, it will work.  We do not keep copies of this form.  The link below has instructions.  Do not wait on this - it takes time to receive it by mail.

New SPL-elect

Congratulations to Mark Bennett-Siecinski, our new SPL-elect!  He will begin working with our current SPL in transitioning duties for next year.

For those of you who would like to apply to become an Assistant Senior Patrol Leader for next year, please email Mark at mrbs167@gmail.com and mrbs12@icloud.com. Include your name, age, rank, why do you want to be an ASPL. Also please say what you think our troop does well and what changes should we make for next year.

New Scouts - Sign up for summer camp by April 13th

New Scouts - Summer Camp is coming!

  1. Summer camp will be July 30 thru Aug 5 at Camp Rotary in Clare, MI
  2. New scouts have their own program called PATH to help them with 1st class rank requirements
  3. Check out the info on the left margin of the website about camp (lots to know, we'll go over more as we get closer)
  4. Camp is $330 total each scout (unless their scout sibling is attending too)
  5. RSVP here if you want to send your scout
  6. Pay the treasurer, Julie Bemben, the deposit of $150 to get you a code for the Parent Portal
  7. Make an appt with the doctor for between April 16 and June 1 to get your scout's physical completed

Class B Uniform Orders can be placed between now and April 28th on the following link:

T-shirts, both long and short sleeve will be make of 100% polyester wicking materials.

Size charts can be found in the link above and sample size shirts will be available at troop meetings after Spring Break.

T-shirts will be red in color with yellow screen printing on the left chest.

If your scout already has a the red Class B t-shirt, you are not required to purchase this new shirt.

If you will be attending  summer camp and do not have a Class B t-shirt, two shirts are recommended.

  • Short Sleeve T Shirts are $16.00 each
  • Long Sleeve T Shirts are $17.00 each

Payment will be due via cash, check, or credit card at time of pick up.  T-Shirts will arrive in plenty of  time for summer camp.
